Home,
Cabin and RV Use

The TXO2® AUTOMATED First
Aid Oxygen
unit may be the best life insurance you can keep in your home or in
places away from your home, e.g., an RV, or summer or winter cabin,
etc. in a 911 medical emergency. Emergency medical assistance may not
be readily available.
The TXO2® AUTOMATED First
Aid Oxygen unit
has been designed for the person that knows practically
nothing. And, for a very small cost you can buy yourself
a better chance of
extending
your life or someone else's life should there be a medical emergency
in your home or away from home.
Many of you who read this
brief article may have already achieved an age where 911 types of
medical
emergencies are more likely. If you are well into the AARP
age, you may have already been diagnosed as having maladies such as
congestive heart failure, emphysema, diabetes, and the like. Heart
attacks,
respiratory difficulty, and "fainting" while in the home
or on the road are not uncommon events. Time is not on your side.
Too often
because of inadequate oxygen, victims suffering from these emergencies
go into cardiac arrest before emergency medical service (EMS) arrives.
Also, they may suffer avoidable brain damage.
The TXO2® AUTOMATED First
Aid Oxygen
unit may mean the difference as to whether you remain alive, or, if
you remain alive, mentally whole prior to arrival of EMS. Inadequate
oxygen for a brief (2-3 minute) span can cause irreversible brain damage
or neurological disorder or both. Consider this, assuming you, the
victim,
were alive when the EMS arrived, oxygen would have been the first
treatment. It makes no logical sense for not giving oxygen prior to
arrival of an EMS unit. There is no downside to giving oxygen but failure
to give oxygen can be extremely hazardous to ones health (read Q+A).
The TXO2® AUTOMATED First
Aid Oxygen unit
is so simple to use. There are no switches and no regulators
to adjust. It is lightweight. Just pull out the unit
from the cradle
and place
the mask over the face of the victim. If you are the one suffering
chest pains, difficulty of breathing, etc. you can do this yourself
and call
for EMS. Mouth to mouth CPR is a poor substitute. Rescue breathing,
if you know CPR, can be implemented through the mask, which is a CPR
mask. Basically, the message is GIVE Oxygen, don't let the victim critically
deteriorate in your home. As some have said, "Better Safe Than
Sorry".
